Native American Ceremonies And Drumming Circles

Crystal Medicine Wheel Ceremonies

Laurel uses the medicine wheel form of one circle inside another with lines radiating between the two circles for the four directions. This medicine wheel is moveable and is made mainly of crystals with some other energetic stones. The inner circle is large enough for a person to sit in and can be made large enough to lay in, for healing purposes. The medicine wheel of crystals is set up in a way that creates a vortex of energy.

This ceremony involves about six people plus the facilitator. Each person has a chance to go into the center circle while the others focus on that person to bring them messages from Spirit while the facilitator drums. Afterwards, all share what they have received. There is no leader and everyone participates equally. This is the new paradigm for human relations. It promotes Universal Love.

Drumming Circles

These are drumming circles that are open to the public and can involve any number of people as long as there is room. All ages welcome. Participants bring their own drums, but extra drums are provided to use or purchase. Any type of drum is welcome and no experience is necessary. Other instruments are welcome such as rattles, native flutes, didgeridoos and the human voice. Singing and toning and various vocal expressions may occur. Drumming is fun and gets us in touch with our roots and our Mother Earth and also promotes Universal Love.
