Laurel is never far from a canvas, paintbrush and paint. For years she has painted in oils and acrylics, experimenting with various techniques of her own invention. She additionally enjoys working with other art media, including painting on canvas and paper, as well as a variety of natural objects. Emert sees herself as very visual and strives to see beyond the limits of her physical existence.
